You must believe in what you're doing and not continually second-guess your decision to change careers, once you've made it." I am a serial entrepreneur who left the corporate world seven years ago. Though it has not always been easy financially, I love the work I do. In my case, a challenging day doing what I love is far better than a good day as an employee. Flexibility is important. Being able to see the many ways in which you can utilize your skills, talents and passions will be very helpful in generating streams of income. The more avenues through which income can flow, the better your balance sheet will look. Surrround yourself with people who will encourage and motivate you as you find your footing. Most importantly, be patient. Do all you know to do to be successful in your new work, but also know, that which we desire, doesn't always come when we want it to. It comes when the conditions are right for bringing it into being. Plant your seeds, nurture the soil, water, weed and wait. When the time is right, you will see the fruits of your labor.
