Sadia Morrison, who was a well-known celebrity publicist and stylist to the stars, has died. She was 26 years old.
Morrison, whose client list has included boxer Zab Judah, rappers Kanye West, Plies and 50 Cent, as well as NFL running back Thomas Jones, among others, was allegedly murdered and thrown from the roof of a building in the Bronx section of New York City on Friday, June 13.

Friends became worried about Morrison when they hadn’t heard from her. Morrison, who was said to have spent most of her day marketing her clients on Myspace, checking both her cell phones, replying to email on her Blackberry,last checked her Myspace account on Friday, June 13, 2008.

Morrison is survived by her mother, two sisters and a brother.- source

Tim Russert, a leading U.S. political correspondent and host of the NBC television network’s long-running “Meet the Press” talk show, died Friday of a heart attack, the network said. He was 58.

NBC interrupted programming for a special report by former anchorman Tom Brokaw, who said Russert collapsed and died at work in NBC’s Washington bureau after returning from a trip to Italy with his family.

Police say the wife of rapper Snoop Dogg has been arrested in California’s Orange County for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Fullerton police Lt. Craig Brower says officers stopped 32-year-old Shante (Shahn-taye) Broadus of Sherman Oaks about 12:15 a.m. Saturday and took her to jail. She was cited and then released pending a court appearance.

Brower says nobody else was in the car but he didn’t have any other details. source

Singer R. Kelly has been found not guilty on the first 7 of 14 counts at a child pornography trial. The jury deliberated less than a day.

Kelly was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who prosecutors say was as young as 13. If convicted, he faces a minimum of four years in prison and a maximum of 15 years. He would also have to register as a sex offender in Illinois. - source

Super producer Timberland married his publicist Monique Idlett yesterday in the couples home in Virginia. The couple plans on having a formal ceremony in Aruba June 22nd. Timberland and Monique had a daughter Reign, who was born last year.

Shock jock Wendy Williams’ husband plotted to kill a Hot 97 rival DJ for badmouthing his wife on the air, an explosive federal lawsuit filed charges Wednesday.

Kevin Hunter, who is married to Williams, sought out a male WBLS employee for help in finding a hitman to rub out Hot 97 personality Tarsha Jones, the lawsuit claims.

Hunter “was apparently angry over some comments that Miss Jones made about his wife on the air,” the lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court claims.

A lawyer for Hunter and Williams could not immediately be reached for comment. - source
