Empress in The City- Drop Your Pants

The 9th Annual No Pants Subway Ride NYC is just part of a worldwide mission

to cause scenes in public places. The No Pants mission was done in 43

cities in 16 cities with over 6000 participants.  While the company; Improv

Everywhere; is based in New York, they run missions all over the world

causing “chaos and joy”.  This year in NYC, it was 28 degrees and about

3000 people wearing only backpacks walked into subway stations across the

city from Astoria to Central park to “drop their pants” and converge on

Union Square for some harmless fun!  Some participants (like me) get

sponsors to make dropping our pants meaningful.  I dropped mine for

www.charitywater.org. A few friends and a few drinks and it’s laughs all

the way around.  Stay tuned for next year’s date!! We’re hoping to

raise even more money
