Do
you find yourself living from paycheck to paycheck, struggling
every month to make ends meet? Would you like to be better off
financially and learn how to save better? Well, luckily, its never
too late to start getting your finances in order. Here are some
simple, realistic steps to help you start on the right savings
track.
At A Restaurant- Get Water
This philosophy
can be applied to the basic activities in your life, even going
out to eat at a restaurant. Instead of getting the soda for $3
or a cocktail for $10, just get water. It’s just as refreshing,
healthier and it’s free. It might not seem like much to save
but it all ads up. Not only can you put that money to better use
but you are training yourself to stop getting things you really
don’t need. Practicing at a restaurant is a perfect way to
start. Of course this is a concept that is simple enough to be
applied to various aspects of your life. Soon you will be amazed
at how much money you will save by cutting back on unnecessary
items.

Everything Goes on Sale or Out of Style
How many
times have you bought something full price and went back to the
store the next week and it was selling for half the price you bought
it for? Unlike high school, where your social status was based
on whether or not you got the new sneakers first, as you mature,
you realize that it really doesn't matter (no one will remember
or care if you had the item first) .If that pair of shoes you want
is $100 today, chances are it might be $75 in the next two weeks.
Just keep your eyes out for the sale.
Get To The Club While It's Free
If you’re
like me, you occasionally like to go out. We all know that a lot
of clubs and parties are free for women before a certain time,
depending on the function. In this case we’ll say midnight.
If we know that we can save ourselves some money, why get there
at 1am and pay 20 to 30 dollars?. Why spend money on something
that you can get for free? If you are worried about looking cheap,
there really is no need to. Remember, you got in for free because
you are smart and trust me, you will not be the only woman there
early. Everyone will be cheap and happy, together!
Remember Some Clothes Are Just Fads
All fashion
divas stop reading now! But to all of us who view fashion as a
hobby rather than a lifestyle, remember that when fads come out
they are often extremely high priced and in a couple months fall
right back out of style.. For example, when those Timberland looking
Monolo Blahniks were in style they were selling for at least $500.
Some women spent their whole check on one pair, and a month later
can’t even wear the shoes again. So while shopping, if you
keep in mind that overpriced fashion items are mostly fads, designed
to take advantage of the fashion hungry consumer, then it will
make it a lot easier not to waste unnecessary money. end
